The Leadership Samoa Class of 2015 has received a massive help from Vailima Breweries in their efforts to host their inaugural Samoa Sports Awards.

On Friday, Samoa Breweries presented the group a cheque of $50,000, making the company the naming rights sponsor for the inaugural Vailima Samoa Sports Awards 2016.

The Chairman of Leadership Samoa 2015, Aiono Nafoi Ken, thanked Vailima. He said the money would go towards hosting the event, prizes, as well as bringing in overseas ambassadors to be present for the event.  

Vailima’s Business Development Manager, Etuati Mau, said the company was pleased to be able to help.

“I think from the beginning of the talks with the Leadership Samoa Sports Awards, with Vailima it’s always been about the development of sports in general. We were very humbled to be given the opportunity.
