“I am an old man now, but God gave me a gift to share with my community.”

Taueva sets a great example for those that surround him.

Although he has entered his seventies, he still works very hard to gain an income, and because of this, his children can go to school.

Before the Nofotane Project, his family made a living from their vegetable garden.

That was always their way of paying for the children’s school tuitions, but the income generated wasn’t always sufficient. Now Taueva is able to enjoy an income that is not only sufficient, but is stable, from his wife’s handicraft.

“My wife is very committed to building our family for a better tomorrow. She now partakes in family decisions and family matters.

“Be committed to growing the talent that God has granted you. Every mother in every family can be the most talented of them all.”
