Love was in the air last weekend, especially for loved-up pair, Easter and Suani.

On Saturday, the lovebirds, Easter Tonuma’alili and Suani Anzac Fruean, exchanged vows before their families at the Assembly of God Church at Safa’atoa, Lefaga.

“Marriage is lifetime commitment for any newly wedded couple,” they were told.

“Love each other during the best of times and the worst of times.”

This was the advice from Reverend Tafuna’i who conducted the ceremony.

The bride and groom met a year ago in New Zealand where they live.

Easter is the second child of six children of Reverend Siaosi and Faiga Tonuma’alili of Safa’atoa. She is 22 and she hails from the villages of Faleasi’u and Vavau .

Suani is the third son of Auvasa and Seleisa Fruean’s six children.  He is 23 and hails from the villages of Faleula and Vaiusu. He lives and works in New Zealand.

A reception held at the Church hall, Safa’ato’a Lefaga, marked the union of two people as one.
