SAMOA IS BEST: Bob and Alison Featherstone sitting on the terace at the Taumeasina Island Resort.

The ocean is the reflection of Samoa’s beauty.

Meet Bob and Alison Featherstone from Wellington, New Zealand, who were blown away by the beauty of Samoa’s crystal blue ocean.

The couple’s choice of Taumeasina Island Resort as accommodation is even more mesmerizing with its location surrounded by the ocean.

Speaking to the Dear Tourist team, they said their expectation of Samoa has not disappointed them.

They have been to other islands in the Pacific such as Fiji, but nothing compares to the heart of the Pacific.

For the couple, pictures cannot even describe the beauty of Samoa’s landscape.

“We are here to just enjoy the beautiful weather and landscapes,” Alison said.

But not only did the scenery impress the couple. “The people are very friendly and helpful. They smile all the time,” Alison explained.

“They look at you with friendliness and that makes us feel very welcomed. They are pleased to see you.”

“Here, there are fewer tourists. It is not crowded and touristy like in Fiji. We do really enjoy that.”

“The fact that Samoa has fewer tourists makes life here more relaxed compared to other places,” Bob shared.

They love the weather here because New Zealand is much warmer.

“Not even the water is the same like in New Zealand. It is clear and so blue here. You can fall in love with it. We do love the sea,” said Alison.

They haven’t done a lot of sightseeing in Samoa, but for them to spend the holidays here is perfect.

“It is a place where you can just relax and do nothing. It is a lovely place to come for a holiday,” Alison said.

The couple arrived in Samoa last week Wednesday. They are spending a week of holidays at the Taumeasina Island Resort.

“It seemed to be a lovely spot, so we booked it. And it is a very beautiful place to stay,” Bob shared.

This is not the last Samoa has seen of the couple for they have promised to return.
