The descendants of Utuga and Sa Ti’avega gathered at Samusu, Aleipata last week.

The three-day reunion ended last Friday with the opening of their new house at Samusu.

The theme for this year’s reunion was ‘Remember your identity’ and it was also an opportunity for the family to salute their ancestors for all the hard work that they contributed for the family over the many years.

Family representative, Fuimaono Viliamu Kerite mai Ueligitone thanked God for making it all possible.

“This is all about knowing who we are, and where we from,” Fuimaono stated.

“Glory must go unto God for His guidance to each and every one of us here.”

The reunion brought relatives home to Samoa from New Zealand, Australia, United States and American Samoa.
