Samoa A made 5 changes against Tonga A

12 March 2018, 12:00AM

Five changes has been made by the Samoa A Head Coach, Muliagatele Brian Lima, to his starting line up to take on Tonga A later on tonight.

This will be their second game as they look to secure their first win of the Pacific Challenge 2018.

The changes came after a brutal encounter with a disciplined Fijian Warriors side last week Friday, where Samoa A came in second best.

Some of the changes include: Aukusitino Ulugia, who replaces Presley Tufuga, to pair with Paul Tua’imalo in the lock.

Fa’alele Iosua will start at halfback replacing injured Melani Matavao with Pupi Ah See moving to the bench as his backup counterpart.

Lucky Fa’asaulele will start on the leftwing replacing Ekenasio Fiso, and Mesala Seumalo on the rightwing replacing Jonny Vaili.

Iosefatu Mareko will take on the blind-side flanker role from Joseph Fuimaono who will start from the bench. Tamahiri Gasolo will make his debut from the bench and looks to exert his best performance come game day.

The match is set to kick off at 4:30pm (Samoa time) at the ANZ Stadium in Suva, Fiji.
