WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) — Springboks lock Lood De Jager has been suspended for one match after admitting a charge of foul play committed during the Rugby Championship match against New Zealand last weekend.

De Jager received a yellow card for a shoulder charge at a ruck in the 72nd minute of the match, won 57-15 by the All Blacks.

He was later cited over the incident and pleaded guilty at a judicial hearing on Monday. The one-match ban means De Jager will miss the Springboks match against the Barbarians at Twickenham on Nov. 5.
