Who should be the new Manu Samoa coach? Lizzy Hunt asked people in today’s Street Talk and this is what they said:

My choice is Stephen Betham. I believe with his experience of coaching the Sevens and all his skills and potential in rugby, I know he should come back and coach our Manu Samoa.

I’m a rugby fan and I would love to have Muliagatele Brian Lima coach the team. He is a proven leader, a great player and he is also qualified. I think its time we stick with our local coaches.

I agree with the Member of Parliament, Faamuina Wayne Fong, who recommended Fesolai Vaaiga Tuigamala as coach. He is a former All Black and Manu Samoa, he’s lived here for a while now and he knows the systems and structures. I don’t understand why we have to look far. I think he will make a great coach.

Muliagatele Brian Lima should replace Alama. He is worthy to become the new Head Coach for our Manu Samoa team, as I’ve seen him play. I think he will also be able to bring back some good old school discipline into the team.

I think the Minister of Sports and Culture, Loau Keneti Sio should be the coach. He knows everything about sports and he is also a former player. So I think he should be given the role. Those guys from the old Manu Samoa mode should be able to get us out of the situation we are in.

Muliagatele Brian Lima is my guy. I’ve heard his fitness sessions are ruthless and that’s exactly what the Manu Samoa needs. He also needs to teach some of our players how to tackle as some of them just don’t know how. So I think Brian Lima is the perfect candidate for the job.
