Samoa now has her own Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

It is not a Mr. and Mrs. Smith love story like in the movie with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Rather it was a love story celebrated at Iva and Salelologa Savai’i during the weekend when Desiree Sarai Tofilau Lino and Tauveve Yu Penitito Smith tied the knot.

The formalities started at the E.F.K.S. Church in Iva Savai’i. There, their parents Tofilau Pipi Lino Tofilau, Mrs. Motiana Tofilau Latu, Gu Penitito Smith and Mrs. Oli Gu Penitito joined guests and relatives to witness the couple exchanging vows.

The excitement was written in the faces of the adorable couple. The smile on the face of the bride spoke more than a thousand words, the aura and happiness, which surrounded her, was addictive to everyone nearby.

The 21-year-old and her 26-year-old husband met at College. It might not have been love at the first sight but the time from then and now has definitely made them stronger.

“He is wonderful, very kind and absolutely passionate,” Desiree said.

The couple have a son and together they are looking forward to a bright future.
