A THOUSAND WORDS

The saying that a picture is worth a thousand words, is certainly true when you take a look at posters of some of our aspiring politicians who are hoping to get your vote in this year’s General Elections.

Taping your photograph to the sloped back window of a car is not a top idea as unless the potential voter is hovering in a helicopter, there is no way you can even work out who the election candidate is.

Other photos have been decorated and framed with scrolls and fancy curlicues presumably to draw attention away from the central figure?

Still others would not look out of place at the Ministry of Police in the ‘Wanted’ section.

So what look were these people aiming for?

Check them out and see if you can tick honesty, intelligence, confidence and vision.

Sadly quite a few seem to suggest “a last hurrah”, “had nothing else to do”, “I’ll give it one more try” or the universal “God told me to.”
