A couple from the United States of America had enjoyed their time so much in Samoa they can hardly wait to come back.

Mathew and Michelle Sheffield from California came to Samoa to return home with their son, Skylar Jay, who had been doing Missionary work in the island for two years.

But they got more than what they came for.

While in Samoa, they explored the place and found out why their son loved it.

The couple’s first impression of Samoa is that it is beautiful and amazing.

“We went to three Islands, we have been all around Apia, then we sailed to American Samoa and ended up in Savai’i where we spent three nights,” Michelle said.

They also visited some beautiful beaches and saw many of the tourist sites.

When the Dear Tourist team caught up with them, they had just arrived from Savai’i. They enjoyed it so much they wished they could stay longer.

Michelle said that the next time, they would definitely spend more time on the big island. She said they were impressed by friendliness of people and the way local families embrace visitors.

They also loved the food in Samoa.

“We visited more local families than exploring the Island, we got to taste most of the traditional meals and it was delicious,” Mathew said.

The couple wants to encourage more of their families and friends to visit Samoa. They are definitely coming back.
