Lupesoliai Laauliolemalietoa Joseph Parker visited his old school at Marcelin College in Royal Oak, Auckland yesterday. 

The visit was scheduled to allow Joseph present the Junior Sports awards for the year. 

The visit was well received by the Junior school with each class lining up to be photographed with the champion. The seniors left in November to focus on exams. 

Lupesoliai was also able to reconnect with his favourite teacher, Mr T who was his Maths teacher when he was at school. 

The staff were delighted with the WBO belt. 

A teacher showed me Joseph's year book in his second to last year at Marcelin. Listed next to his photograph, Joseph wrote that his goal was to win an Olympic gold. 

He has not managed to earn that, yet.  He could very well substitute that with a World Heavyweight Title Belt on Saturday night.
