Bridge between Upolu, Savai’i

Re: Waterfront plan released

The P.M wants to construct Samoa to mimic Brazil, Indonesia and other island nations. It is great when the population is at this level.

However, as it grows, it will become a maze. Especially when you try to access the other side of the island.

Hawai’i was built the same way. Now they cant get to the other side of the island for hours. As the population grew in Hawai’i, so as the amount of time to travel across the island.

If this project moves forward, I would recommend that the road be expanded now to allow growth in the future.

On the other hand, I have a better suggestion to the P.M and his Cabinet.

Why not build a bridge between Upolu and Sava’ii via Manono and Apolima? That will help Samoa’s growth for the unforeseeable future. It couldn’t cost anymore than the proposed plan.
