One of the first cruise ships to dock at Matautu this year arrived on Thursday.

Ballet dancer, Faith Candinl, was among the ship’s hundreds of passengers who spent some time checking out Samoa.

Ms. Candinl is 20 years old. It was her first time travelling with the ship and in Samoa, she was eager to get around and check out the place.

“It’s been really great so far,” she said.

“I love to have a lot of fun, getting to see the world and do what I love.”

Ms. Candinl works in a production show on the cruise ship. She was proud that she was granted the opportunity to work on the ship which gives her the chance to explore the world.

Samoa is one of many places she has seen.

And although she hasn’t had time to check out the rest of the country, she said she would love to come back and explore.

Ms. Candinl says she loves the beach – whether it’s in Samoa or anywhere else.

“I would love to check out Samoa’s beaches, I heard you have awesome beaches so definitely.”

On Thursday, she was just keen to check out the Apia township, walking everywhere and buying souvenirs for friends and families.

She also tried out some of the local foods and she loved it.

She is definitely keen to return – whether its for work or pleasure.
