Tip to help travellers
Re: Samoa Airways flight cancellations
Traveling on a different airline wouldn’t make a difference too. But here’s a tip from years of travel experience - purchase travel insurance. And always remember, if your flight is delayed / cancelled due to weather, the airlines ARE NOT bound to compensate you as the weather itself is something the airlines do not have control of.
1. Purchase travel insurance.
2. Put aside money for the “what if’s”
3. If something does happen, use the money you kept aside and keep your receipts!!!
4. Claim your expenses back with the insurance company.
This is the nature of travel whether by air, ground or sea.
Thought for the day: If Lady Samoa III was cancelled in Salelologa due to rough seas would we still complain and demand that Samoa Shipping Corporation to accommodate everyone in hotels?
