Two buildings belonging to T&N Toleafoa Company Ltd. were opened last Saturday at Saleufi. 

General Manager, Aiono Afaese Toleafoa said the land development and construction of the two buildings cost about $1.3 million tala. 

“The land development and works on the two buildings started in November last year. We are going to rent it out. We already have two tenants who will have a five-year lease before renewal. One building is a supermarket and the other one is a restaurant,” Aiono said. 

“We are not sure right now how much we will rent the buildings for. It’s $10,000 tala per building and we will put on the security and maintenance of the building, so it could be more than $10,000.”

He said the construction of the two buildings is another source of income for the five shareholders of the company.  

“That’s why we want to rent it out because our children are still in school right now, so maybe another two years or five years, we are thinking of them when they finish their studies they can come and do some business. That’s why we invested in this project,” he said.
