A victim of the warfare

Dear Editor,

Re: Health in state of warfare

Thank you to the Commission for your report. My husband was a victim of this war and he is still waiting for treatment six months later.

Not even a phone call while the warring factions squabble.

Absolutely unacceptable. It is said people only go to the hospital in Samoa for treatment if they want to die.

This is why.

On another matter, I had to read twice about the P.M’s comments on the debt.

What an idiot the P.M. sounds like as usual.

Why do people ask about the debt, he asks?

How about because they have a right to know?

Also people don’t hate the tax collector as some separate entity from the government. The tax department is just a bureaucratic body of any country whose rules are created by the government of the day.

Does he think he’s living in biblical times or something?

He sounds so silly when he talks like this. If people feel they are being taxed unfairly and they are not seeing results from the taxes they are paying they hate the P.M. and the party that he is the leader of, not the tax collector.

What a joke. Time for a new government.
