Manu gears up for Georgia
The enemy is in town and the Manu Samoa knows about it. Their response has been nothing but brutal in the way they are preparing to confront Georgia at the Apia Park this Saturday.
The majority of the squad are already in Apia and they have been pounding the pavement and hitting the weights to pump themselves up for the Georgia challenge.
The Georgia team, expected to be highly physical and forward-oriented, arrived in the country yesterday.
For the Manu Samoa, a closed to the media run at the Apia Park indicates just how serious they are taking their first test of the season. And they have good reason.
Georgia stunned Manu Samoa in Tblisi, 16-15, in 2013. They will not want a repeat this Saturday.
