Atonio Atonio and Lene Alema brought their best performances out and to wow the audience in a spectacular show of Fire Knife Dancing.

Lene Alema was the winner of the night, with a near perfect performance that left the audience in awe. Judges Kome Feagaimalii and Luna Marsters-Paul, at the Le Manumea Hotel awarded Lene the highest score of the Challenge to date.

Lene will now wait to see who else makes it through the preliminary rounds, before representing Le Manumea Hotel in the semi finals.

Mrs. Marsters-Paul said “These boys did such a good job tonight and I’m very proud of them both.” She added “Although the fire knife dancers perform every week at our show, this competition brings out their best.

It helps to inspire them to be at their best, every time they perform.”

She concluded by saying “The Faletalimalo Siva Afi Challenge is exactly what the Hotels and Resorts of Samoa need to help raise the standard of this performing art, and keep it consistently high”.
